A show that brings to the scene a mix of the roots and origins of singer Vânia Dilac, generations of mist, islands, homesickness, ethnicities and sunsets found in her father’s Azores and her mother’s Africa! This concert also includes the special appearance of SELMA UAMUSSE.
In short, this project intends to carefully engage Afro Azorean rhythms and singing, drumming and folklore to the classics of Portuguese music, paying particular attention to Fado.
In the sonorous and other soft melodies, the vibration of the savanna, the color of a capulana, as well as the crackling of the sea of ​​these islands of mist and volcanoes and the longing of those who know how to be Portuguese. In this perfect music scene, with approximately 75 minutes without break, we will take the audience to rediscover the sounds and sensations that promise to bring the minds and hearts on the road.
Thus we aim to hold an innovative concert, with a repertoire full of (exclusive) musical arrangements on such themes of ours and with traits of our Neighbor Africa that accompanies our guest, attractive and dynamic, by joining the Soulmates Band to our Philharmonic.
Freedom, music, rhythms, peace, inserted in a rich cultural context and of great cultural valorization.
