The theater comedy Dona Conceição is an original story of Rui Faria with production of the group Teatro AJURPE.
Dona Conceição elaborated a plan to provoke a fraud in a life insurance pretending to its own death. This plan had the help of her children, her lover, her husband’s boss and owner of a funeral home, and a banker. Everything was going well until at Conceição’s funeral, she died from the anesthesia error. With the death of Conceição, the Bank man can not deliver the money.
The plan will go through the coming of Manuela, Concepinha’s twin sister and resident in Brazil and, with another miraculous plan, will try to deceive the husband of Conceição and the man of the Bank and convince that it is the true Conception and thus receive the money of the safe.
This all seemed to go well until Alberto, a Brazilian gay hairdresser and living in Portugal, comes on the scene and will cause a change in the story that will leave the public in suspense until the end of the play with many laughs.
