SYNOPSIS
Portuguese Kids is a comedy group that portrays the humor of growing up in a Portuguese home and brings it to life on stage, in videos and more. Born and raised in Fall River, Massachusetts – something of a Portuguese Mecca – Brian Martins and Derrick DeMelo use their upbringing as inspiration for their live comedy shows, funny musical parodies and viral videos. The Portuguese Kids’ unique style of ethnic humor has won over a legion of fans around the world, and their videos have been viewed millions of times online. Joining them on stage is Portuguese-Canadian comedian Mike Rita! The Michaelans’ son, Mike Rita, has taken his memories of growing up Portuguese in Toronto and turned it into one of the hottest acts in the country.
